Optimize Your Popular Posts

The Problogger is at the top of my subscriptions in my feed reader. If you are serious about blogging, I suggest you subscribe to that blog.

Darren Rowse created a list of ways on how to optimize your most popular blogs. While almost all of the things he mentioned are already known to professional bloggers, there was this one point he made that caught my attention.

It was no. 9 on the list and it’s about improving a previous post.

I agree with him that most bloggers don’t like rewriting or editing an old post. But if it is attracting a lot of traffic, perhaps it is best to improve it so you can get, not just traffic, but quality traffic that you can convert into possible links and subscribers.
