I Miss Writing Greeting Card Sentiments

by Mj Ces on May 28, 2009

Yes, I really do. One of my first jobs was a greeting card writer. All day I would just sit and think about all the sweetest thoughts that can be put on every greeting card be it a happy birthday, graduation, anniversary or Christmas card. I believe I was able to write a sentiment for every popular holiday and occasion.

Sadly, the greeting card industry here in the Philippines went down. I guess it’s because of texting, email, social sites such as Friendster and Facebook, and many more technologically advanced means of saying, “Happy Birthday! May all your wishes come true today.”
